Moving can be very stressful and it’s easy to forget few things. If you’re planning to move in the next few months, you should start by making a list of things to be taken care of beforehand.
There are alot of things that you need to think about before scheduling your next move, but I have an opinion about what the top 3 things should be!
The first consideration should be your MOVER. Picking the right mover is very important! Are you more comfortable with a big company or do you prefer the small mover to help you? Time should be taken to research the credentials and testimonials of the mover you pick. Don’t take things for granted!
The second considerations should be TRANSPORTATION. If you have a car, you still may want to consider if public transportation is accessible to your new home or apartment in cases of emergency.What if your car breaks down and you don’t know anybody to ask for help?
The third consideration should be SCHOOLS. If you have children you should really take a moment and research the schools in the surrounding areas and be sure of which one your child will be zoned to. Make sure the environment and curriculum are what you want BEFORE you put your child there!
This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as preparing for your move, but with these three things to get you started, you can’t go wrong!
